Georgia certified court reporters are required to complete a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education each calendar year.
Newly certified Georgia court reporters must complete the first Learning Essentials About Professionalism (LEAP) Seminar authorized by the Board after certification. A reporter issued an initial certificate is otherwise not required to earn annual CE hours during that first calendar year.
Georgia's current CE guidance states that completed hours should be submitted to the Georgia Courts Registrar within 60 days after the educational activity or by December 31, whichever is earlier.
The online seminars are designed to make completing your CE hours straightforward. Purchase the course or package you need, work through the material at your own pace, take the Final Exam, and request your completion certificate.
